Considering the numerous Covid-19 cases found among passengers arriving from Bangladesh and the risks due to the pandemic in progress, the Ministry of Health with provision no. 9228 of 8 July 2020 has banned direct and indirect flights from Bangladesh. In any case, all aircraft operators are prohibited from embarking passengers from Bangladesh in flights to Italy. The measure also concerns multiple stage flights with first leg originated from Bangladesh.
Overflight, state flights, medical evacuation, hospital and humanitarian flights are not subject to the ban.

BANGLADESH WITH FINAL DESTINATION ITALIAN AD ARE FORBIDDEN.
ACCORDING TO HEALTH INTERNATIONAL REGULATION (ART.43), TAKING INTO
ACCOUNT THE ACTUAL HEALTH RISK THAT THE ONGOING PANDEMIC ENTAILS, IN
COMPLIANCE WITH THE OBLIGATIONS DERIVING FROM INTERNATIONAL LAW, ALL
AIR OPERATORS ARE PROHIBITED FROM EMBARKING IN FLIGHTS TO ITALY
PASSENGERS FM BANGLADESH IN ANY WAY.
