Coronavirus, extension of commercial airport closures

Yesterday, with Decree no. 207 of 17 May 2020, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, in agreement with the Ministry of Health, has extended the exclusive maintenance of minimum services in air transport until 2 June 2020.

Among the airports where the minimum services must be offered, Olbia airport has been added. The operative airports are therefore: Ancona, Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lamezia Terme, Malpensa, Naples, Olbia, Pescara, Pisa, Ciampino, Fiumicino, Turin and Venice. In Catania, Palermo, Lampedusa and Pantelleria only connections for territorial continuity and with Rome are allowed.

All other airports remain closed to scheduled and charter commercial activities. The activities on Linate are limited to general aviation.
