The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, in agreement with the Ministry of Health, has issued Decree no. 194 of 5 May 2020 concerning updates on air transport operations in minimum configuration.
Bergamo-Orio Al Serio and Milan-Linate have been added to the airports where the minimum services must be offered, so they will be able to resume operations. From May 5, 2020 Ancona, Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lamezia Terme, Linate, Malpensa, Naples, Pescara, Pisa, Ciampino, Fiumicino, Turin and Venice airports are therefore operative. In Catania, Palermo and Lampedusa only connections for territorial continuity are allowed.
In paragraph 2 of art. 1 was also added: “General aviation activities are allowed at commercial airports not included in the list”.
Only flights motivated by work needs, situations of necessity, health reasons or return to own home or residence (art. 1 paragraph 6 of the Decree) are permitted in general aviation airports and in airfields/helipads/hydroplane surfaces (not occasional).
