20/30 agosto: campionato mondiale di aerostati a gas

Dal 20 al 30 agosto 2021 (stimato) lo spazio aereo italiano potrà essere interessato dal campionato mondiale di aerostati a gas “Gordon Bennett 2021” con massimo 17 mezzi con 2 membri di equipaggio ognuno. Gli aeromobili saranno equipaggiati con radio 8.33 KHz, transponder Modo S, GPS, luci e dispositivi di comunicazione satellitare.

Le attività saranno condotte con piloti certificati per il VFR notturno. Gli aeromobili partecipanti potranno penetrare spazi aerei A, C, D, E e le ATZ controllate solo con la specifica autorizzazione dell’ente ATS responsabile. Le aree pericolose (D) e regolamentate (R) saranno da evitare.

Le seguenti aree sono identificate per le operazioni:

  • Dalle 06.00 alle 23.00 locali nell’area di Milano ACC le operazioni sono consentite solo nell’area a nord del 45° parallelo e a ovest dell’8° meridiano tra FL140 e FL150.
  • Durante le ore diurne nella CTA di Padova le operazioni sono vietate a nord del 44° parallelo;
  • Dalle 06.00 alle 23.00 locali le operazioni sono vietate all’interno della TMA di Roma.

Il campionato “Gordon Bennett” è una competizione internazionale che prevede la partenza da uno stesso sito di aerostati con le stesse dimensioni e stesso peso. Vince chi percorre la distanza maggiore senza effettuare scali. L’edizione 2021 prevede la partenza da Toruń, Polonia.

D. FOR MOUNTAINOUS AREAS FLIGHT VISIBILITY SHALL NOT BE LESS
THAN 8 KM
E. SSR TRANSPONDER MODE ‘A’ AND ‘C’, DOUBLE COMMUNICATIONS
EQUIPMENT AND ‘ELT’ DEVICE ARE REQUIRED
3. CONTINUOUS TWO-WAY RADIO CONTACT SHALL BE MAINTAINED WITH THE
APPROPRIATE ATS UNIT
4. OPERATIONS CONDUCTED WITHIN ‘A’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’ AIRSPACES AND IN
THE AERODROME TRAFFIC ZONES (ATZ) OF CONTROLLED AIRPORTS SHALL
