11 gennaio/28 febbraio: attività di volo da portaerei

Dall’11 gennaio al 28 febbraio 2022, giornalmente dalle 11.00 alle 23.00 locali, nelle FIR di Milano, Brindisi e Roma sulle acque internazionali comprese entro 200 NM dai seguenti tre punti sono previste attività di volo da portaerei militari:

  • 36° 58′ 00” N 012° 40′ 00” E
  • 36° 10′ 00” N 020° 38′ 00” E
  • 41° 37′ 00′ N 017° 46′ 00” E

Nelle aree indicate saranno condotte attività di volo fino a FL460 (inizialmente FL280). Gli aeromobili militari opereranno con dovuto riguardo per la sicurezza del traffico aereo e marittimo nelle vicinanze della flotta (operazioni “due regard”). Gli aeromobili in volo saranno in contatto radio con i propri enti di controllo del traffico aereo. Gli enti ATC italiani forniranno per quanto possibile i servizi per il traffico GAT in coordinamento con le unità militari.

UNDER ARTICLE 3 OF THE CHICAGO CONVENTION OF 1944 WHICH STIPULATES
THERE MUST BE ‘DUE REGARD’ FOR THE SAFETY OF NAVIGATION OF CIVIL
ACFT WHEN FLT IS NOT BEING CONDUCTED UNDER ICAO FLIGHT PROCEDURES.
ESSENTIALLY, FLT UNDER THE ‘DUE REGARD’ OR ‘OPERATIONAL’ OPTION
OBLIGATES THE MILITARY ACFT COMMANDER TO BE HIS OWN AIR TRAFFIC
CONTROL AGENCY AND TO SEPARATE HIS ACFT FROM OTHER AIR TRAFFIC.
2. AS FOR ALL ABOVE, GAT (GEN AIR TFC) IS REMINDED THAT
THE ITALIAN ATC WILL PROVIDE SER AS FAR AS PRACTICAL
